'Trudy'
Born March 23rd 2006 Trudy is a lovely PHR registered mare. Standing 17.2h she is large enough for a taller rider and takes up the leg well.
Trudy's Dam was an Irish Sport Horse imported from Ireland as an open jumper and her Sire was a sporthorse bred Jockey Club Thoroughbred. Trudy has the best from both breeds - showing her sire's athletic ability and her dam's calm kind temperment.
Trudy has show ring experience qualifying in hand for the USDF Region 2 DSHB Regional Championships as a three year old. Calm and relaxed at shows - she was a joy to handle.
Started undersaddle in 2010 she has smooth gaits that are easy to sit. Although still green Trudy is light in the bridle and comfortable to ride. She has basic walk trot and canter started and is ready to finish in any disciplin. Has been to several dressage shows and is great away from home. Has also been started over fences.
Her calm demenor would make her an excellent trail or hunt horse while her flashy looks and nice gaits will make her a great lower level dressage prospect. Life time registered with USDF and USEF
