Stapleton Farm offers classical and kind Dressage training with USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist Ruth Hill-Schorsch. Training programs vary from partial training to full training. Each horse's program is based on the individual horse and rider's needs. Goals can range from short term training, training for sale or long term training with competition goals. We attend USDF shows in Region 2 and also choose several schooling shows each season for those that do not wish to compete at the USDF level. Contact Ruth for more information
Our training program is supported by a variety of professionals:
Please inquire for training rates - each horse has an individual training plan. Ruth's Assistant Trainer Katie is also available. Katie works under Ruth's tutelage and is a wonderful option for those on a budget.
Lessons are available with Ruth on either your own horse or a school horse. We have several types of school horses ranging from beginner-safe horses to Third Level School Masters. Haul-in clients are also welcome. On occasion, lease horses are available for those clients who would like to take lessons and also ride several days a week on their own. Lease horses may also be shown. We show at USDF shows in Region 2 and enjoy taking a group of clients to shows and providing a supportive atmosphere in which to show.
Lessons are available as private lessons or, for those that enjoy riding with someone, we offer semi-private lessons. Lesson options range from a half hour to an hour. Ruth is also available for clinics.
