MICHIGAN STATE DRESSAGE CLUB AND TEAM
The MSU Dressage Club is passionate about the enrichment of the sport of dressage. The club was founded in August of 2006 by Erin Tans and continues to develop into a dynamic community of collegiate dressage enthusiasts with academic majors ranging from biochemistry to the performing arts.
Ruth has coached the Team and been involved with the Club since 2007 and enjoys developing each rider as they pursue their education at Michigan State. There are many options to ride and show. Students may show on the MSU Team or as an Individual at IDA shows if they are selected at Tryouts. The IDA Team rides horses the host school provides at shows at Training through First Level. Warm up time is limited and students learn how to ride an unknown horse effectively. The Team rides horses at Ruth's farm for weekly lessons. Students can also do USDF shows or Schooling shows locally or on our school horses or their own horse with no tryout procedure. They can also take lessons and continue their education and not show. If you would like more information on the Team or Club please contact Ruth. [email protected] https://msudressageweb.wixsite.com/home#! |
